Meet Katey
Hey hey! I’m Katey! I’m all about capturing the real stuff- the in between laughs, wind blown hair, and the moments you didn’t even know were happening. I believe the best parts aren’t scheduled or posed, it’s just your beautiful story frozen forever in time.
My sessions are laid back and pressure free. We don’t do stiff and stuffy, we have fun, we laugh, and I will guide you through everything so there’s never any “what do I do with my hands?” energy.
Couples, weddings, and families are my favorite, and I live for that golden hour glow. I also shoot maternity, lifestyle newborns, fresh 48, seniors, branding headshots, and of course, fur babies are alwayssss welcome!
I decided to turn this passion into a business in 2020. It has been a true joy to capture intimate moments, love, the beautiful chaos of life, and all the in between moments. I don’t just want to take your picture. I want to create an experience. I want to tell your story. I want to capture your vibe as a couple. For every milestone, I want you to have something to cherish and smile back on for years to come.
Photography is sacred. Sometimes I’m the first to know when a couple is pregnant. I spend the most time with the bride on her wedding day. I have captured family photos that are the last pictures someone has of a loved one. I don’t take that honor lightly.
I am originally from Florida, but now live in Oklahoma with my husband where we raise cattle and sell beef. I’m an aunt, love the beach, barrel racing, hunting and fishing, and most anything outside! I also have two sisters and an awesome brother in law!
